Common triggers include stress, dehydration, irregular sleep, and caffeine withdrawal, with hormonal fluctuations possibly explaining the higher prevalence in women compared to men.

Recognized as one of the most disabling health conditions globally, particularly among adults in their prime working years, migraines can significantly disrupt professional and personal life. Fortunately, recent advancements in treatment have brought new hope. Medications designed to block CGRP’s effects provide many patients with relief by reducing the severity and frequency of attacks. These treatments include both oral and injectable drugs targeting the specific biological processes responsible for migraine pain.
