INDIANAPOLIS – In response to the increasing threat posed by wildfire smoke infiltrating indoor environments, Carrier has introduced a targeted program to support healthier air in residential and commercial spaces.
Recognizing the health risks associated with airborne pollutants, the company advises property owners to implement key measures: utilizing HVAC systems with high-efficiency filters, sealing structural openings, and deploying portable air purifiers equipped with HEPA filtration.
“Indoor air quality is a critical component of public health protection during wildfire events,” stated Nick Arch, Vice President of Residential Solutions at Carrier. “Our technologies are designed to safeguard the air families depend on.”
Demonstrating its commitment to community well-being, Carrier recently donated $2.5 million in air purification units to educational institutions and frontline personnel in Los Angeles.
