The Blue Jays have added a major piece to their pipeline by selecting shortstop JoJo Parker as the eighth overall pick in the MLB Draft, making him the highest draftee from Purvis High School, Mississippi.
In 2025, Parker put together eye-catching stats: a .489 batting average, 13 home runs, 35 RBIs, 64 runs scored, and 30 stolen bases—helping bring his team to new heights at the state level.
