Saudi Official Discusses Economic Collaboration with Maldivian Leader in Male Visit

During a formal visit to Male, Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutaib bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Minister of State, engaged in discussions with Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. This visit was timed to coincide with the Maldives’ 61st independence anniversary celebrations, underscoring the robust ties between Saudi Arabia and the Maldives.

The meeting between the Saudi prince and the Maldivian president served to reaffirm the strong diplomatic relationship shared by the two nations. Prince Mansour’s presence at the independence events highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering strong ties with the island nation.

Upon his arrival in the Maldivian capital, Prince Mansour received a warm welcome at Velana International Airport. He was greeted by several key Maldivian officials, including Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel and Mohamed Naseer, the Principal Secretary to the President on Foreign Relations. The Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives, Yahya Hassan Al-Qahtani, was also present to welcome the prince.

Prince Mansour’s visit to the Maldives stands as a testament to the enduring partnership and collaboration between Saudi Arabia and the Maldives, which continues to grow stronger with such high-level engagements.
