Austin Abrams takes on the role of Jay Gardiner, a young diver haunted by the recent death of his father, portrayed by Josh Brolin. In a quest to find closure, Jay embarks on a diving expedition off California’s Central Coast to locate his father’s remains. However, his journey takes a terrifying twist when he is engulfed by a massive sperm whale.
